KBYM Vision
“Kingdom Builders Youth Ministry” envisions a generation of young people passionately pursuing Jesus Christ,
equipped with sound biblical truth, and empowered to live boldly as lights in the world. Through intentional discipleship
and Christ-centered teaching, we aim to cultivate spiritually mature youth who understand the relevance of God in their
lives today and rise as transformative Christian leaders tomorrow.
"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven." — Matthew
5:16
KBYM Purpose
“Kingdom Builders Youth Ministry” exists to cultivate authentic faith in the lives of young people. Through intentional
connection and biblical guidance, we empower youth to grow spiritually and become leaders who reflect Christ in every
area of life.
Shining – Mentor
Proverbs 22:6
"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.“
“KBYM” dedicates its entire effort to mentoring generation after generation so that the life of the church will never cease to exist. As parents—supported by
the church—train youth in Christian principles, those youth become mentors themselves. Their influence ignites others to live lives that glorify God.
Exciting – Ministry
Deuteronomy 11:19
"Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.“
“KBYM” is committed to ministering to the youth of TWOG by partnering with their families to inspire a positive, Christ-centered atmosphere in the home,
church, and community. We believe that ministry should be engaging, relevant, and rooted in everyday life—helping youth see God’s presence in all they
do.
Enflaming – Model
2 Timothy 3:14–15
"But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, and how from
infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.“
We want the youth of TWOG to be models of Christ-like character in the world around them. By living out the truth of Scripture, they become living
examples that lead other youth to salvation in Jesus Christ. Our goal is to enflame their hearts with passion for God and purpose for His Kingdom.
KBYM is devoted to reaching youth who do not yet have a relationship with Jesus Christ—bringing them into fellowship with Him and guiding them toward responsible church membership.
Real Talk, Real Growth
We understand that today’s youth face tough issues. That’s why “KBYM” provides a biblical and spiritual
perspective to help them grow into mature Christians who can navigate life with wisdom and faith.
Faith in Action
We believe it’s vital for youth to begin living out what they learn about God in their everyday lives.
Through discipleship, mentorship, and ministry, we aim to affect real change in their hearts and
minds—presenting an exciting opportunity to minister to them during this crucial spiritual season.
Parents are a powerful resource in youth ministry. Their involvement can make or break the impact we have on our
youth. So how do we engage them to help youth ministry thrive?
Here are Five KBYM Parent Commitments to make our youth ministry encouraged, edified, and educated:
1. Communication
Colossians 4:6 - "Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer
each person.“
Clear, consistent communication is key. Use tools like Facebook, email blasts, or GroupMe to keep parents informed about
needs, events, budgets, and youth progress. When parents are involved weekly, communication becomes even more
critical.

2. Expectations
Keep expectations simple, practical, and achievable. Meet with parents to understand their schedules and develop shared
goals. Provide an annual calendar of meetings, workshops, and activities to help parents stay engaged and respected in
their home life balance.
3. Training
Many parents hesitate to get involved because they don’t understand youth ministry. Help them see that youth ministry is an
extension of their Christian home life. Host workshops to bridge the gap between home and church, aligning both in the mission to
raise youth in the fear and admonition of the Lord.

4. Relationship Building
Trust is essential. Parents need to trust leadership with their children. Build that trust by spending time with both youth and
parents—inside and outside the church. Remember:
"People follow what and whom they trust."

5. Don’t Be Afraid to Ask
If you don’t ask, parents won’t offer. But be mindful—constant financial requests can be a turn-off, especially for families facing
hardship. Build relationships to understand their situation and invite them to contribute in non-financial ways that still support the
ministry.
“KBYM” Youth Involvement
“Participation does not simply mean ‘taking part’ or ‘being present’, it is about the youth of
TWOG being involved. It means that our young people will be involved in shaping and
developing the lifestyle of the youth ministry. The KBYM Involvement Strategy aims to equip
young people both inside and outside the church with Christian values as an example for other
youth showing them that you can be a Christian and a Child as the same time.
This strategy will develop a way for young people to be involved and engaged, thus creating
the potential to energize the youth and encourage the church at all levels at TWOG.
